Derek Collins turned his greatest challenge into his greatest strength. More than 20 years ago, after being arrested and successfully completing a pre-trial diversion program, he overcame addiction and transformed that second chance into a life's mission.

Today, Dr. Collins is the Founder and CEO of both The Diversion Center and the National Association of Court Approved Treatment Providers (NACATP) — the accrediting body that sets the national standard for evidence-based treatment programs.

Are the Diversion Center's programs evidence-based?+

Yes. All Diversion Center curricula are evidence-based, developed with 15+ years of school-based behavioral health expertise. Programs are aligned with SAMHSA evidence-based practices and Project AWARE grant requirements, and are used by school districts nationwide.

Can school districts license the curriculum?+
